Modern vehicle centre is under construction in the north of the Turkmen capital

The territory of the complex of motor transport enterprises, which is under construction in the north of the capital will be able to service about 3,000 vehicles. At the request of the “Türkmenawtoulaglary” Agency of the Ministry of Industry and

Communications, a centre for maintenance and repair of city and intercity passenger transport, as well as the Association of driving schools with a training centre is under construction near the Ashgabat international motor terminal along the Ashgabat - Dashoguz highway.

More than 60 hectares are allocated for construction project. The contractor – the “Weli Gurluşyk” individual enterprise will erect covered parking lots, repair zones, control centers, office buildings and other facilities. A parking lot for 800 places will be built for the taxi fleet of the Ashgabat passenger and motor transport production association.

Five covered parking lots are designed for 350 intercity buses. 24 covered parking lots will be built for more than 1,500 city buses.

A total of 12 repair zones with the daily capacity of 50 vehicles will be created on the territory of the complex for maintenance and repair of motor vehicles. They will be supplied with modern equipment and technologies.

Each fleet will have its own gas station, a control room equipped with computer technology, and a medical unit. The two-story administrative building will house a dining room and a conference hall.

The complex of motor transport enterprises will be put into operation in April, 2020.
