Documents required to obtain a "Death Certificate" for Turkmenistan citizens who died within the territory of the Republic of Turkiye:

Special permission letter obtained from the relevant authorities of the Republic of Turkey for the removal and burial of the body (permission given by the hospital or local authority);

1. Death certificate of the deceased citizen issued by the hospital or Forensic Medicine institute;

2. Original copies or color copies of documents confirming the identity and citizenship of the deceased citizen (Biometric passport, passport and birth certificate of a citizen of Turkmenistan);

3. Application written by the deceased citizen's close relative (must be written at the Consular Department of the Embassy);

4. Color copy of the temporary residence permit (identity card) of the deceased citizen's close relative in the territory of the Republic of Turkey;

Note: If the citizen has just arrived in the Republic of Turkey, he/she can apply according to the validity period of the visa valid in his/her biometric passport.

5. Color copy of 1st of the biometric passport of the deceased citizen's close relative;

6. Color copy of pages 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 32 of the passport of a Turkmenistan citizen of a close relative of the deceased citizen;

7. Color copy of the Birth Certificate of the deceased citizen's close relative;

Information: Each of the above documents must be in 3 (three) color copies and on A4 size paper;
