The exhibition devoted to the development of energy industry started in Ashgabat
On September 6, 2018 in the premises of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, the International Exhibition and Conference "The main directions of the development of the energy industry of Turkmenistan" started their work. The forum was organized by the Ministry of Energy and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.
Heads of Mejlis, members of the Government, representatives of the ministries and departments, heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Turkmenistan, international organizations, public organizations, numerous foreign guests, representatives of foreign and domestic mass media took part in the opening ceremony of the exhibition.
A multifaceted exposition was deployed in the exhibition hall of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Among the participants of the review are 160 representatives of the world electric power companies, domestic industry structures and private business.
The dynamics of the industry growth, its successes and achievements are most fully demonstrated by the stands of the Ministry of Energy and profile agencies, as well as by the largest enterprises of the industry serving powerful power plants and high-voltage power lines, modern systems for monitoring and delivering energy to consumers who perform construction and installation work in this area.
The International Conference "The main directions of the development of the energy industry of Turkmenistan" was held in the conference hall of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan. Representatives of the ministries and departments, specialists of scientific research institutes of the country, heads of foreign companies, experts and analysts, managers from many countries took part in the forum.
As the speakers emphasized, Turkmenistan's energy policy clearly defined the priorities for the development of the national electric power industry for the coming decades, outlined concrete steps for further integration of the country into the world energy system.
The international industry exhibition in Ashgabat will last until September 8.
Also on September 8, 2018, in honor of the Day of Energy Industry Workers of Turkmenistan, it is planned to open the power plant with the capacity of 1574 MW built on the territory of Mary state power station.
