INDEPENDENCE DAY OF TURKMENISTAN CELEBRATED IN ANKARA

On October 9, 2019 on the occasion the 28th Anniversary of Independence of Turkmenistan, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Turkey organized the Official reception in “Swiss Hotel” in Ankara.

 

The Official reception was attended Deputies of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, representatives of the Ministries and Government Services, Rectors, Businessmen working in Turkmenistan, Ambassadors and representatives, members of the International and Civil Organizations, representatives information agencies and Turkmenistan citizens working in Turkey and Turkmen students.

The event day as a “Guest of Honor” was attended Mr. Fatih Dönmez Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Turkey. In addition, the holiday excitement was attended Mr. Ibrahim Aygun  head of the Turkey-Turkmenistan Interparliamentary Friendship Group of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey.

 

In the official part of the Reception was mentioned about the Turkmenistan-Turkey bilateral relations, and the implements of the internal and foreign policy of His Excellency President of Turkmenistan. In addition, was mentioned of the reached high levels in political and economic fields of Turkmenistan.

Within the framework of the celebrating day was organized exhibition of the    books  of   President  of  Turkmenistan H.E. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the cultural heritage of the Turkmen nation. In addition, Turkmen students performed national Turkmen dances.

At the Official reception was served to the guests various meals and traditional Turkmen dishes.
